Composition:
Each capsule contains:
Thioctic acid (alpha-lipoic acid) 300 mg
Inactive ingredients:
Starch, gelatin, titanium dioxide, magnesium stearate.
Properties:
Thioctic acid (alpha-lipoic acid) is an endogenous antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals. It participates in mitochondrial cellular metabolism and functions as a coenzyme in the transformation of substances with pronounced antitoxic effects. It protects cells from reactive radicals generated during intermediate metabolism, the breakdown of exogenous foreign substances, and heavy metals. Thioctic acid enhances the effects of insulin, leading to increased glucose utilization. In diabetic patients, it helps regulate the concentration of pyruvic acid in the blood.
Indications:
-Diabetic polyneuropathy
-Neuritis, polyneuritis
-Optic neuritis
-Encephalopathy
-Adjuvant therapy for male infertility
Dosage and Administration:
Take one capsule daily, 30 minutes before meals, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor.
The dosage may be adjusted by the physician based on individual indications.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug
Warnings and Precautions:
Patients with diabetes mellitus should have their blood glucose levels monitored regularly during therapy, especially at the beginning.
Dosages of insulin or oral hypoglycemic drugs may need to be adjusted to prevent hypoglycemia.
If symptoms of hypoglycemia occur (e.g., dizziness, sweating, headache, blurred vision, nausea), discontinue thioctic acid immediately and seek medical attention.

Digestive system: Common – nausea, vomiting
