Biketogesic
Form: Film-coated tablets.
Active Ingredient:
• Ketoprofen (NSAID – Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug).
Pharmacological Action:
• Ketoprofen works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis, which decreases inflammation, pain, and fever.
Indications:
• Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
• Muscle and joint pain (myalgia, neuralgia, sciatica).
• Headaches, dental pain, and post-operative pain.
• Dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation).
Dosage and Administration:
• Adults: 100–200 mg per day, divided into 2–3 doses.
• Maximum daily dose: 300 mg.
• Take with food and water to reduce stomach irritation.
Contraindications:
• Allergy to ketoprofen or other NSAIDs.
• Active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Severe liver or kidney impairment.
• Pregnancy (especially the 3rd trimester) and breastfeeding.
• Children under 15 years of age.

• Digestive issues: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea.
• Nervous system: headache, dizziness, drowsiness.
