Each tablet contains:

Paracetamol 500 mg

Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg

Chlorphenamine maleate 2 mg.

Auxiliary components:

Starch, povidone, sodium sorbitol, sodium lauryl sulfate, microcrystalline cellulose, talc.

Properties:

A combination drug that has antipyretic, analgesic, alpha-adrenergic, vasoconstrictor and antihistamine effects, eliminates cold symptoms.

Paracetamol is a non-narcotic analgesic; it blocks COX, mainly in the central nervous system, affecting the pain and thermoregulation centers; it has an analgesic and antipyretic effect.

Phenylephrine is an alpha-adrenergic agonist with moderate vasoconstrictive action.

Chlorphenamine is an H1-histamine receptor blocker. It constricts nasal blood vessels, eliminates swelling and hyperemia of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx and paranasal sinuses; reduces exudative manifestations, suppresses symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

Indications:

Symptomatic treatment of acute respiratory infections, acute respiratory viral infections (including influenza), accompanied by fever, pain syndrome, rhinorrhea.

Method of administration and dosage:

Adults and children over 12 years old:

1-2 tablets every 6 hours. Maximum daily dose is 8 tablets.

The course of treatment is no longer than 7 days.

Contraindications:

Diabetes mellitus (severe); concomitant use of tricyclic antidepressants, MAO inhibitors, beta-blockers; pregnancy; lactation period; children under 12 years of age; hypersensitivity to the components of the combination.

With caution:

Pheochromocytoma, diabetes mellitus, bronchial asthma, COPD, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, blood diseases, congenital hyperbilirubinemia (Gilbert’s syndrome, Dubin-Johnson syndrome, Rotor syndrome), liver and/or kidney failure, closed-angle glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia.

Precautions:

During the treatment period, you should not take sleeping pills or anxiolytic drugs (tranquilizers).

Do not take with other medications containing paracetamol.

If symptoms do not go away within 5 days, you should consult a doctor.

During the treatment period, it is necessary to refrain from drinking ethanol (hepatotoxic effects may develop).

Side effects:

Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching, urticaria, angioedema.

From the central nervous system: dizziness, difficulty falling asleep, increased excitability.

From the cardiovascular system: increased blood pressure, tachycardia.

From the digestive system: dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, hepatotoxic effect.

From the organ of vision: mydriasis, paresis of accommodation, increased intraocular pressure.

From the hematopoietic system: anemia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia, methemoglobinemia, pancytopenia.

From the urinary system: renal colic, glucosuria, inertial nephritis, papillary necrosis.

From the respiratory system: broncho-obstruction.

Storage method:

At a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.
