Description:
Adwiflam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) commonly prescribed for the relief of pain and inflammation. It works by reducing the production of substances in the body that cause pain, fever, and inflammation.
Indications:
• Musculoskeletal pain (back pain, sprains, strains)
• Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis
• Gout attacks
• Dental pain
• Post-operative pain
• Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea)
Dosage:
Dosage is determined by the physician depending on the patient’s condition. It is usually taken orally with water, after meals to reduce stomach irritation.
Precautions:
• Not recommended for patients with active gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding.
• Use with caution in patients with heart, liver, or kidney conditions.
• Should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, unless prescribed by a doctor.
Possible side effects:
• Stomach discomfort, nausea, or indigestion
• Headache or dizziness
• Rarely: allergic reactions, elevated blood pressure, gastrointestinal bleeding
