Winzoxib (Etoricoxib)

Winzoxib contains etoricoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor from the class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is designed to relieve pain and inflammation with a lower risk of stomach irritation compared to traditional NSAIDs.

Indications

Winzoxib is used to manage:
• Osteoarthritis – reduces joint pain and stiffness
• Rheumatoid arthritis – alleviates swelling and discomfort
• Ankylosing spondylitis – eases back and joint inflammation
• Acute gout attacks – provides rapid relief from pain and swelling
• Postoperative pain – especially after dental surgery

Dosage
• Osteoarthritis: 30–60 mg once daily
• Rheumatoid arthritis / Ankylosing spondylitis: 60–90 mg once daily
• Acute gout: 120 mg once daily for up to 8 days
• Postoperative dental pain: 90 mg once daily for up to 3 days

Dosage may be adjusted in patients with liver impairment. Always follow your doctor’s prescription.

Precautions

Do not use Winzoxib if you:

Possible Side Effects
