Each 100 ml of solution contains:
Peppermint oil 5 ml
Camphor oil 1 g
Eucalyptus oil 5 ml
Benzoin tincture up to 100 ml.
Properties:
Vaposol inhalation solution is an effective combination of four ingredients with stimulating, disinfectant and expectorant properties. When inhaled, they stimulate the cough center, acting directly on the bronchial glands, increasing bronchial secretion, which acts as a mechanical irritant stimulating the cough center, due to the direct irritant effect on the upper respiratory tract. They also stimulate the restoration and healing of chronic inflammation of the bronchial mucosa. Inhalation of steam provides symptomatic relief by liquefying the secretion.
Vaposol also disinfects the upper respiratory tract, camphor and mint oils have antiseptic and disinfectant properties, benzoin tincture is a disinfectant, and eucalyptus oil has an antiseptic effect. All work in sync to achieve the best results.
Peppermint oil and camphor provide local anesthetic action, relieving pain in inflamed upper respiratory tract.
Thus, Vaposol is an effective treatment for upper respiratory tract infections.
Indications:
Cough with laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis and other respiratory infections.
Method of administration and dosage:
Add 5 ml (1 teaspoon) to 500 ml of hot water and inhale hot steam.
Contraindications:
Individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
Precautions:
Do not use on children under 30 months of age.
