Hexamine, the first ingredient of the drug, is a uroseptic, active against the pathological flora that most often causes urinary tract infections (UTI), including gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Kellin, the second ingredient of natural origin, acts as a relaxant on the smooth muscles of the UTI, reducing spastic pain associated with infections. Piperazine citrate, the third ingredient, additionally helps dissolve uric acid crystals, thereby preventing the formation of urate stones.
