Properties:

Oral infection with bacteria and fungi is a common condition that affects most people, which results in bad breath, bleeding gums, and in many cases, a feeling of toothache.

Hexitol is effective in treating bad breath caused by pathogenic bacteria and microbes. It is also prescribed in cases of toothache and oral and tongue fungi caused by infections.

Hexitol Mouthwash Component Chlorhexidine is a strong and direct acting substance that helps to get rid of germs and bacteria in the mouth and gums and is used to eliminate bad breath.

Hexitol has a myrrh-like flavor that is easily tolerated by both adults and children.

Gargling with it does not cause irritation.

Indications:

  • General analgesic for pain in the mouth, gums and throat
  • Treatment and prevention of oral infections
  • Inflammation, bleeding, redness and swelling of the gums
  • An effective local analgesic for pain in the mouth and teeth
  • For bad breath, especially in smokers
  • For gum infections resulting from the use of dentures
  • For the destruction of both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria

Method of administration and dosage:

Hexitol is used once or twice a day.

Do not eat or drink for at least 20 minutes after using the mouthwash.

It can be used as a concentrate or diluted as directed by your doctor.

Use one capful of Hexitol and swish it around your mouth for one minute.

Avoid swallowing, and if you accidentally swallow it, drink plenty of water and consult a doctor.

Contraindications:

  • Hexitol mouthwash should not be used by children or the elderly unless under medical supervision.
  • Do not use the rinse if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
  • Hexitol is not used in children under 12 years of age.
  • Hexitol mouthwash is not used if you have artificial teeth in your mouth.
  • It is not used to treat viral infections, herpes, or yeast infections.
  • Do not use after the expiration date stated on the package.

Precautions:

Avoid contact with eyes.

Side effects:

  • Dry mouth
