Each suppository contains:

Diclofenac sodium 25 mg.

Excipients: isopropyl myristate, solid fat.

Properties:

Diclofenac sodium belongs to non-steroidal drugs with pronounced antirheumatic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties.

Indications:

Adjuvant treatment in case of painful inflammatory infections of the ear, such as otitis; and throat, such as pharyngitis and tonsillitis, used in combination therapy. Fever syndrome. Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. After tooth extraction, tonsils. Painful postoperative inflammation and swelling. Pain syndrome of the spine. Treatment of acute and chronic rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.

Method of administration and dosage:

The dose depends on the child’s body weight. The dose range is from 0.5 to 2 mg per 1 kg of body weight per day, depending on the severity of the disease. And in the case of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the dose can be increased to 3 mg per 1 kg of body weight per day, divided into 2-3 doses for 4 days.

Contraindications:

Children weighing up to 10 kg; history of hypersensitivity to aspirin or any other NSAIDs, including those who have had asthma attacks, urticaria or rhinitis provoked by aspirin. Patients with peptic ulcer, severe heart failure.

Precautions:

Should be used with caution in allergic disorders, in patients with gastrointestinal diseases (especially elderly patients), blood clotting disorders, in patients with renal, cardiac or hepatic insufficiency, since NSAIDs can impair kidney function.

Side effects:

Hypersensitivity reactions (especially rash, bronchospasm); gastrointestinal disorders; rectal irritation.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees out of reach of children.
