Properties:

The drug has an antiseptic effect, is active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, and has an antimycotic effect.

It is an antiseptic drug. It is used for infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (relieves pain and soothes irritation in the throat).

Indications:

Symptomatic treatment of sore throat in infectious and inflammatory diseases.

Method of administration and dosage:

Children aged 6-18 years are recommended to dissolve 1 tablet every 4 hours. Do not take more than 5 tablets within 24 hours. Adults over 18 years are recommended to dissolve 1 tablet every 2-3 hours. Do not take more than 8 tablets within 24 hours. Do not exceed the specified dose. The duration of the course of treatment is no more than 3 days. If symptoms persist after taking the drug for 3 days, stop treatment and consult a doctor.

Contraindications:

Children under 6 years of age;

sucrase/isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption;

hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

The drug should be used with caution in diabetes mellitus, pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Precautions:

It is recommended to take the drug for the shortest possible course and in the minimum effective dose necessary to eliminate the symptoms. Patients with diabetes mellitus should take into account that each tablet contains about 2.6 g of sugar (0.22 XE). High doses of ascorbic acid increase the excretion of oxalates, contributing to the formation of kidney stones. In newborns whose mothers took ascorbic acid in high doses, and in adults who took ascorbic acid in high doses, “rebound” scurvy may be observed. With prolonged use of ascorbic acid in high doses, suppression of the function of the insular apparatus of the pancreas is possible. In patients with increased iron content in the body, ascorbic acid should be used in minimal doses.

Side effects:

Nausea, abdominal pain, discomfort in the mouth (burning or tingling sensation, swelling); rash.

If the above or other side effects not listed in the instructions occur, the patient should stop using the drug and consult a doctor.

Storage method:

The drug should be stored out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25 degrees.

Package:

The cardboard pack contains 2 blisters of 12 tablets and paper instructions.
