1 lozenge contains:
2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol – 1.2 mg,
amylmetacresol – 0.6 mg;
Excipients:
tartaric acid – 26 mg,
honey – 125.6 mg,
peppermint leaf oil – 0.62 mg,
lemon oil (terpene-free) – 2.03 mg,
quinoline yellow dye (E104) – 0.099 mg,
sugar syrup [sucrose, water],
liquid dextrose [dextrose, oligo- and polysaccharides] to obtain a tablet weighing 2.6 g.
Properties:
Antiseptic agent, has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and local anesthetic effects.
The drug has an antiseptic effect in infectious and inflammatory diseases, is active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, has an antifungal and antiviral effect.
The drug has a softening effect on the oral mucosa and reduces irritation and pain in the throat, including when swallowing and speaking.
The drug reduces the intensity of pain in the throat within 5 minutes after the start of resorption.
The analgesic effect lasts up to 2 hours. A pronounced analgesic effect is observed with a course of use of the drug for 3 days.
Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of sore throat in infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity, throat, larynx:
tonsillitis;
pharyngitis;
laryngitis;
hoarseness;
inflammation of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and gums.
Method of administration and dosage:
Adults and children over 6 years of age are recommended to dissolve 1 tablet every 2-3 hours. Do not take more than 8 tablets within 24 hours. Do not exceed the specified dose. The duration of the course of treatment is no more than 3 days.
If symptoms persist after taking the drug for 3 days, the patient should stop treatment and consult a doctor.
Contraindications:
- children under 6 years of age;
- sucrase/isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption;
- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
The drug should be used with caution in diabetes mellitus, pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Precautions:
It is recommended to take the drug for the shortest possible course and in the minimum effective dose necessary to eliminate symptoms. The drug should not be used in the presence of increased individual sensitivity to any component included in the drug.
Patients with diabetes should take into account that each tablet contains about 2.6 g of sugar (0.22 XE).
Side effects:
nausea, abdominal pain, discomfort in the mouth (burning or tingling sensation, swelling); rash.
If the above or other side effects not listed in the instructions occur, the patient should stop using the drug and consult a doctor.
Storage method:
The drug should be stored out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25 degrees.
Package:
The cardboard box contains 2 blisters of 12 tablets and paper instructions.
