borneol 10.0 mg,

anethole 4.0 mg,

fenchone 4.0 mg,

cineole 3.0 mg,

Auxiliary components:

olive oil.

Composition of the capsule shell: gelatin, glycerol 85%, sodium ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 215), sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 217), sunset yellow dyes (E 110) and quinoline yellow 70% (E 104).

Properties:

Rowatinex promotes disintegration and elimination of kidney and urinary tract stones. The inhibitory effect of Rowatinex on the formation of kidney and urinary stones has been established in a number of animal studies. Rowatinex has an antispasmodic effect, promotes the passage of stones through the urinary tract, reduces pain in renal and ureteral colic. Rowatinex increases renal blood flow and reduces inflammation.

Rowatinex has antibacterial activity against a number of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.

Indications:

– for the treatment of urolithiasis

– in complex therapy of urinary tract infections.

Method of administration and dosage:

Inside.

Recommended dosage regimen:

Adults: 1-2 capsules 4 times daily 30 minutes before meals.

The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually, depending on the course of the disease.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Children and adolescents up to 18 years of age.

Precautions:

Rowatinex is not recommended for use in patients with severe renal colic, anuria or severe urinary tract infection. Fluid intake should be increased during treatment.

The preparation contains excipients ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, which can cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed type).

Pregnancy and lactation: There is no data on the use of the drug during pregnancy in humans. There is no data on the teratogenicity of the drug in animals. However, at least some of the ingredients can penetrate the placenta. The drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Features of the effect of the drug on the ability to drive a vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms: There is no data on the effect of Rowatinex capsules on these functions in patients.

Side effects:

A small number of patients reported mild and transient gastric discomfort. Vomiting was very rare. Intolerance to the drug was noted in two cases (cause unknown).
