Escin 40 mg

Properties:
Escin is the main saponin obtained from horse chestnut fruits. It has anti-edematous and anti-inflammatory effects and helps normalize the tone of blood vessel walls.
The increase in the tone of the walls of blood vessels is the result of the stimulating effect of alpha-escin on the secretion of hormones of the adrenal cortex, the formation of prostaglandin PGF2a in the walls of blood vessels and the release of norepinephrine in the endings of nerve fibers, as well as the result of the action of escin metabolites, similar to the effect of hormones of the adrenal cortex. These connections are responsible for the increase in the tone of muscle cells in the walls of blood vessels.
