Description

Trade name:

Proximol Compound

Compound:

Each 100 g of effervescent granules contains:

– Halfa extract 18.6 mg (equivalent to 8 mg of pure proximadiol)

– Hexamine 6 g

– Piperazine citrate 1 g.

Properties:

It has a unique effect, as it contains proximadiol purified extract of Halfa, which enhances the movement of smooth muscles of the ureters.

Proximol Compound also dissolves uric acid and urate crystals, preventing their deposition in the urinary tract; these effects are mainly achieved by the action of piperazine citrate.

In addition to the above properties, Proximol Compound acts as an effective urinary tract antiseptic due to the presence of hexamine in the composition, which releases formaldehyde in the urine. Formaldehyde has antibacterial activity against a wide range of bacteria responsible for urinary tract infections.

Indications:

– To remove stones in the ureters.

– The presence of excess uric acid and urate crystals in the urine.

– Urinary tract infections, such as pyelitis, cystitis, urethritis.

Dissolve 2 teaspoons of the preparation in 1/2 glass of water, take three times a day after meals or as directed by a doctor.

Contraindications:

Precautions:

Sulfathiazole forms insoluble crystals with formaldehyde, so avoid this combination with hexamine in preparations.

Nausea may rarely occur.
