Naftidrofuryl oxalate 200 mg

Auxiliary components:

Eudragit RSPO, Compritol 888, lactose, talc, magnesium stearate, Eudragit NOT 30 D, hypromellose, Macrogol 4000.

Properties:
Peripheral vasodilator. Improves intracellular metabolism (including in areas with impaired blood circulation), has an antiplatelet effect. Expands peripheral arteries, improves blood supply and oxygen supply to tissues, as well as blood circulation in the brain and retina. Helps increase ATP levels, improves the utilization of glucose and oxygen, reduces the level of lactic acid in cells under conditions of tissue hypoxia.

Indications:
Prescribed for circulatory disorders in peripheral vessels, especially the lower extremities (intermittent claudication, Raynaud’s disease, etc.), for trophic tissue disorders (bedsores, long-term non-healing ulcers, etc.), as well as for disorders of cerebral circulation, blood supply to the fundus, etc. .

Directions for use and dosage:
1 tablet 2-3 times a day, preferably with meals, with a full glass of water.

Contraindications:
Patients with hypersensitivity to the active substance of the drug and/or any excipients in the composition;

Acute stage of myocardial infarction;

Patients in the acute stage of hemorrhagic stroke;

Patients with chronic heart failure stage II–III (III–IV according to NYHA – functional classification of heart failure of the New York Heart Association);

Patients with arterial hypotension;

Patients with epilepsy, as well as increased convulsive readiness;

in patients with arrhythmia;

Pregnancy;

Breastfeeding period;

Children under 18 years of age.

Precautionary measures:
At the beginning of treatment, it is recommended to monitor the individual tolerability of the drug Praxilen and the possibility of developing a hypotensive effect in patients.

The drug contains lactose monohydrate, so it should not be prescribed for lactase deficiency, galactosemia or glucose/galactose malabsorption syndrome.

Patients with celiac disease (gluten enteropathy) should be aware that the tablet contains wheat starch.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery:

Praxylene does not have a negative effect on psychomotor reactions and the ability to drive.

Side effects:
From the nervous system and sensory organs: headache, dizziness, sleep disturbance.

From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, intestinal colic, diarrhea, loss of appetite, reversible increase in the level of liver enzymes, ulcers of the gastric mucosa.

Other: allergic reactions, formation of kidney stones, hepatotoxic effect.
