Each sachet contains:

Paracetamol 600 mg

Phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg

Auxiliary components:

Citric acid, honey flavoring, starch, caramel coloring, aspartame, sucrose, ascorbic acid.

Properties:

Combination drug.

Paracetamol is an analgesic-antipyretic. It has analgesic, antipyretic and weak anti-inflammatory effects. The mechanism of action is associated with the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, primarily affecting the thermoregulation center in the hypothalamus.

Phenylephrine is an alpha1-adrenergic agonist that causes vasoconstriction and eliminates swelling and hyperemia of the nasal mucosa.

Indications:

Symptomatic treatment of colds and flu accompanied by fever, headache, chills, nasal congestion, sore throat and sinus pain.

Method of administration and dosage:

For internal use.

Pour the contents of 1 sachet into a mug, add half a glass of very hot water, stir thoroughly. Breathe in the hot menthol vapors for a few minutes. This inhalation will significantly ease nasal breathing. Then add cold water, if necessary, and drink warm. Dilute 1 sachet in a glass of hot water. Take a single dose every 4-6 hours, depending on age. The course of treatment is no more than 5 days.

Contraindications:

Severe liver dysfunction; severe renal dysfunction; hyperthyroidism (including thyrotoxicosis); cardiovascular diseases (severe aortic stenosis, acute myocardial infarction, tachyarrhythmia); arterial hypertension; prostatic hyperplasia; closed-angle glaucoma; concomitant use of tricyclic antidepressants, beta-blockers, MAO inhibitors (including within 14 days after their withdrawal), other paracetamol-containing drugs; children under 12 years of age (for dosage forms intended for adults); hypersensitivity to the components of the combination.

Precautions:

If symptoms persist after 5 days of using this product, stop taking it and consult a doctor.

Should not be taken simultaneously with other drugs containing paracetamol, as well as other non-narcotic analgesics (metamizole sodium), NSAIDs (acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen), barbiturates, anticonvulsants, rifampicin and chloramphenicol, sympathomimetics (such as decongestants, appetite suppressants, amphetamine-like psychostimulants), with other means for relieving symptoms of colds and flu.
