Properties:

The mechanism of action is associated with the inhibition of cyclooxygenase activity.

The analgesic effect is due to peripheral and central mechanisms.

Inhibits proteoglycan synthesis in cartilage. In rheumatic diseases, the drug reduces the sensation of pain, morning stiffness, and swelling of the joints. Relieves spontaneous pain during movement, reduces swelling. Relieves pain in primary dysmenorrhea.

Indications:

Chronic polyarthritis, osteoarthritis.

Degenerative spondyloarthrosis

Rheumatism, bursitis.

Cervical pain syndrome.

Acute attack of gout.

Post-traumatic and post-operative syndrome.

Dysmenorrhea, adnexitis.

ENT infections.

Method of administration and dosage:

Tablets are taken before meals, without chewing and with a glass of water. The initial daily dose is 100-150 mg. In mild cases and with prolonged therapy, the daily dose is 50-100 mg. The dose is divided into 2-3 doses.

Can be combined with the use of a rectal capsule and cream.

For dysmenorrhea, the dose is 50-100 mg per day.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to diclofenac, asthma attacks, gastric ulcer, bleeding, colitis, pregnancy and lactation, age under 18 years.

Precautions:

Fever is not an indication for the use of Olfen-50.

Reduces the effect of diuretics and antihypertensive drugs.

Combine with anticoagulants and antidiabetic drugs with caution.

Side effects:

Headache, nausea, dyspepsia, rash, swelling, drowsiness, urticaria, liver failure.
