Compound:

Each 5 ml of syrup contains:

Ambroxol hydrochloride 15 mg.

Auxiliary components:

Glycerol, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, strawberry flavor, 70% sorbitol solution, purified water.

Properties:

Muco syrup is a mucolytic agent for the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory diseases accompanied by cough with difficult to separate sputum.

Indications:

Respiratory diseases accompanied by the release of viscous sputum and difficulty in expectorating sputum: acute and chronic bronchitis; pneumonia; bronchial asthma; bronchiectasis; COPD.

Method of administration and dosage:

Take after meals with plenty of water.

Children under 2 years:

2.5 ml of syrup 2 times a day (the daily dose of ambroxol is 15 mg).

Children 2-5 years old:

2.5 ml of syrup 3 times a day (22.5 mg of ambroxol per day).

Children 6-12 years old:

5 ml of syrup 2-3 times a day (30-45 mg of ambroxol per day).

Children over 12 years old and adults:

10 ml 3 times a day (90 mg ambroxol per day) for the first 2-3 days, then 10 ml of syrup 2 times a day (60 mg ambroxol per day).

Contraindications:

Individual intolerance to ambroxol or other components.

With caution:

Impaired bronchial motility and increased mucus secretion (for example, in the rare immotile cilia syndrome); renal failure and/or severe liver failure; gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer (including history); pregnancy; children under 2 years of age (only as prescribed by a doctor).

Precautions:

If any rashes occur on the skin or mucous membranes, stop using and consult a doctor.

Children under 2 years of age, patients with liver and kidney failure should use the drug only as prescribed by a doctor.

If there is no effect after 4-5 days of use, consult a doctor.

Do not use together with drugs that suppress the cough center.

Pregnant and lactating women should use the drug only as prescribed by a doctor and under his supervision.

Side effects:

From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, stomach pain, vomiting.

From the skin and integuments: skin rash, urticaria.

From the immune system: fever, hypersensitivity reactions.

Storage method:

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, the shelf life is 1 year.
