Ketoprofen 50 mg.

Properties:

Ketophane is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic, antipyretic agent with central and peripheral action.

Indications:

Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing sponditis, acute joint and periarticular disorders, low back pain, muscle pain and dysmenorrhea.

Method of administration and dosage:

Orally, the capsule is swallowed whole, during meals. The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration. Adults: 50-100 mg 2 times a day. Dysmenorrhea: 50 mg up to 3 times a day. The duration of treatment usually requires 3 to 4 days from the onset of menstruation or symptoms of dysmenorrhea.

Contraindications:

Childhood; hypersensitivity to ketoprofen, aspirin or any of the excipients of the drug; gastrointestinal hemorrhage or other hemorrhages; gastric or intestinal ulcer; severe cardiac, hepatic and renal failure; pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions:

In case of renal failure and elderly patients, the dosage is adjusted by the doctor. If the condition worsens, allergies, consult a doctor immediately.

Side effects:

Headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, convulsions and mood disorders; vertigo; tachycardia/bradycardia, hypertension, arrhythmia, heart failure; asthma attacks or bronchospasm; photosensitivity, alopecia; visual disturbances, tinnitus; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, gastrointestinal discomfort and stomach pain, gastritis, stomatitis; colitis; hepatitis; peptic ulcer, gastric bleeding and intestinal perforation; fluid retention, edema; rash, itching, urticaria, Quincke’s edema.

Storage method:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees in a dry place out of reach of children.
