Ivy leaf extract 0.7 g
Properties:
Herbal cough remedy. Has expectorant, mucolytic and bronchospasmolytic effects.
Reduces the viscosity of sputum and promotes its expectoration.
Indications:
For the treatment of chronic bronchial diseases and acute inflammation of the respiratory tract, accompanied by cough.
Method of administration and dosage:
– children under 6 years old – 2.5 ml 2 times a day
– children from 6 to 12 years old – 5 ml 2 times a day
– children from 12 years old and adults – 5 ml 3 times a day
The bottle must be shaken well before use.
The duration depends on each individual case and the severity of symptoms, but in cases of inflammation of the respiratory system it should be prescribed for a course of at least a week.
To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to continue taking the drug after the symptoms of the disease have been relieved for at least another 2-3 days.
Contraindications:
Individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
Precautions:
-Children under one year of age should take the drug only under the supervision of a doctor.
-Children of this age group, more often than children of an older age group, experience symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting
-The drug may have a laxative effect.
