Guaifenesin 100 mg
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 250 mg
Paracetamol 325 mg
Auxiliary components:
Povidone K25, sodium bicarbonate, aspartame, disodium edetate, Tutti-Frutti flavor.
Properties:
Due to the components included in the composition. The drug has an expectorant and analgesic effect, and also reduces elevated body temperature.
Guaifenesin reduces the surface tension and adhesive properties of sputum, which reduces its viscosity and facilitates evacuation from the respiratory tract.
Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic effects. It inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 mainly in the central nervous system, affecting the pain and thermoregulation centers.
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is involved in the regulation of oxidation-reduction processes, reduces vascular permeability and increases the body’s resistance to infections.
Indications:
Colds (including acute respiratory infections, flu) and other infectious and inflammatory diseases accompanied by fever, headache and cough.
Method of administration and dosage:
Adults:
Take 2 sachets 3 times a day.
Children:
take 1 sachet 3 times a day.
Dissolve the sachet in half a glass of water before taking.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Wet cough with copious sputum production, gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer, gastric bleeding (history).
Precautions:
If symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days of treatment, consult a doctor.
During treatment, it is recommended to drink enough fluids. It is advisable to combine it with postural drainage or vibration massage of the chest.
Side effects:
From the blood and lymphatic system:
Thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis.
From the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, gastralgia, abdominal pain, diarrhea.
From the skin:
Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, urticaria.
Allergic reactions: skin rash, urticaria, hyperthermia.
Storage method:
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30 degrees.
