Each tablet contains:
Amoxicillin trihydrate 574 mg, which is equivalent to pure amoxicillin 500 mg
Flucloxacillin sodium monohydrate 544 mg, which is equivalent to pure flucloxacillin 500 mg.
Auxiliary components:
Crospovidone, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, castor oil, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, titanium dioxide, dye.
Properties:
Flumox is a combination drug consisting of two semi-synthetic antibiotics of the penicillin series:
Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic.
Flucloxacillin is a penicillinase-resistant antibiotic. This combination has activity against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Indications:
– Upper and lower respiratory tract infections: otitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia.
-Intestinal infections and hepatobiliary infections: enteritis, cholecystitis, typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever, etc.
-Urogenital infections: cystitis, pyelonephritis, prostatitis, gonorrhea.
– Skin and soft tissue infections: infected postoperative wounds, carbuncles, abscesses.
-Septicemia, endocarditis.
-Osteomyelitis.
Method of administration and dosage:
Adults: 1 capsule every 8 hours.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
Infectious mononucleosis, bronchial asthma, hay fever.
Precautions:
Use with caution in patients prone to allergic reactions.
Amoxicillin enhances the effect of indirect coagulants (coumarin group).
During pregnancy and lactation, the drug is prescribed only if the expected effect for the mother outweighs the potential harm to the child.
Storage method:
Store at temperatures not exceeding 25 degrees.
