Each capsule contains:

Amoxicillin trihydrate 286.9 mg, equivalent to pure amoxicillin 250 mg

Flucloxacillin sodium monohydrate 272.5 mg, equivalent to pure flucloxacillin 250 mg

Auxiliary components:

Crospovidone, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, dye, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, castor oil, titanium dioxide, dye.

Properties:

Flumox is a combination drug consisting of two semi-synthetic antibiotics of the penicillin series:

Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic.

Flucloxacillin is a penicillinase-resistant antibiotic. This combination has activity against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Indications:

– Upper and lower respiratory tract infections: otitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia.

-Intestinal infections and hepatobiliary infections: enteritis, cholecystitis, typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever, etc.

-Urogenital infections: cystitis, pyelonephritis, prostatitis, gonorrhea.

– Skin and soft tissue infections: infected postoperative wounds, carbuncles, abscesses.

-Septicemia, endocarditis.

-Osteomyelitis.

Method of administration and dosage:

Adults and children weighing over 40 kg: 1-2 capsules every 8 hours.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.

Infectious mononucleosis, bronchial asthma, hay fever.

Precautions:

Use with caution in patients prone to allergic reactions.

Amoxicillin enhances the effect of indirect coagulants (coumarin group).

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, skin rash, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting.
