Compound:

Each tablet contains:

Simethicone 40 mg.

Properties:

A product that reduces flatulence. Simethicone is a chemically inert polymer of methylsiloxane containing about 5% silicon dioxide. It has surface-active properties and the ability to reduce surface tension at the liquid/gas interface, which makes it difficult for gas bubbles to form.

Indications:

Excessive formation and accumulation of gases in the gastrointestinal tract (flatulence, increased gas formation in the postoperative period); symptoms of excessive gas formation caused by functional dyspepsia;

Preparation for diagnostic examinations of the abdominal cavity and pelvic organs (ultrasound, radiography). Acute poisoning with detergents containing foaming agents (tenosides) as a defoamer.

Method of administration and dosage:

1-3 tablets (40-120 mg) 3-4 times a day after meals and before bedtime. Tablets should be chewed before swallowing. Maximum daily dose is 500 mg.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Intestinal obstruction.

Precautions:

If symptoms of excessive gas formation and/or intestinal colic persist for a long time, you should consult a doctor.

Side effects:

Angioedema, rash, allergic reactions, vomiting.

Storage method:

At a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.
