Properties:
Polycresulin is a polymerized organic acid with selective protein properties. The pH of the preparation is 4.0. It causes contraction of small blood vessels, leaving healthy tissues unchanged, which immediately stops bleeding. In addition, it increases local blood flow, which accelerates the healing process. The bactericidal effect prevents the accumulation of pathogenic microorganisms and inflammation.
Local surface anesthetic Cinchocaine relieves pain and itching in the anorectal area.
Indications:
Treatment of internal and external hemorrhoids.
Method of administration and dosage:
Adults: Apply the ointment to the affected area 2-3 times a day after emptying the rectum and, if possible, massage. For internal use, use a special cannula-dispenser attached to the package. Screw the dispenser onto the tube and insert it into the anus. By gently squeezing the ointment out of the tube, it flows out through the side openings and is evenly distributed over the affected areas.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the auxiliary components according to the composition, as well as to other local anesthetics.
Precautions:
If allergic reactions occur, discontinue use of the drug.
Pregnancy and lactation:
There is no clinical data on use in pregnant women. Use the ointment during pregnancy or breastfeeding with caution and under the supervision of a physician.
Side effects:
Skin and subcutaneous tissue: sometimes unpleasant sensations (eg burning, itching), which usually disappear after a short time.
Very rare: allergic contact sensitization (erythema with papules, itching). In this case, treatment should be discontinued. Immune system disorders, very rare: allergic reactions, including general reactions (angioedema, laryngeal edema, urticaria, etc.) and generalized reactions: anaphylaxis. If any of the symptoms of adverse reactions that have been mentioned occur, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor.
Storage method:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 degrees, out of reach of children.
