Description

Tradename:

Evastine

Compound:
Every 5 ml of syrup contains:

Ebastine 5 mg

Auxiliary components:

Glycerol, propylene glycol, purified water, methyl hydroxybenzoate, sucrose, strawberry flavor, sorbitol 70%.

Properties:
Histamine H1 receptor blocker from the group of piperidine derivatives. Has an antiallergic effect. It is characterized by a long-lasting effect (up to 48 hours), which is due to the formation of active metabolites. Unlike many histamine H1 receptor blockers, ebastine has virtually no m-anticholinergic activity, and also penetrates poorly into the central nervous system and does not have a pronounced sedative effect.

Indications:
Allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, urticaria.

Directions for use and dosage:
Children from 6 to 11 years: 5 mg (5 ml or 1 teaspoon) per day.

Children from 2 to 5 years: recommended dose 2.5 mg (1/2 teaspoon) per day.

Adults: 10 mg (2 teaspoons) per day.

Take before or after meals.

Contraindications:
Pregnancy, lactation, hypersensitivity to piperidine derivatives.

Precautionary measures:
