Diclofenac sodium 1 mg.
Properties:
Diclofenac sodium belongs to non-steroidal drugs with pronounced analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Indications:
Inflammatory processes of infectious and non-infectious nature; prevention of complications after injuries and surgeries; treatment of the mucous membrane after injuries to the eyeball; photosensitivity, lacrimation; conjunctivitis; erosion and burns of the cornea.
Method of administration and dosage:
For inflammatory diseases: 1 drop is instilled into the affected eye 4 times a day. Prevention of diseases after injuries and surgeries: 1 drop 5 times 3 hours before surgery, every 15 minutes, 30 minutes and 45 minutes in the postoperative period 4 times a day. Photophobia in incisional refractive surgery: 1 drop 1 hour before surgery, then 1 drop within 15 minutes after surgery, then 1 drop 4 times a day, starting 4-6 hours after surgery and continuing for 3 days. The drug should only be used within 1 month after opening.
Contraindications:
Childhood; hypersensitivity to the drug, aspirin, and other NSAIDs. Patients wearing hydrogel soft contact lenses. Pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions:
Use with caution in patients taking medications that increase bleeding time or cause bleeding (anticoagulants). Avoid contact of the dosing container tip with the eyes to prevent bacterial contamination.
Side effects:
Burning and stinging, keratitis, increased intraocular pressure (IOP), itching, irritation.
