Properties:
Piracetam is a nootropic substance known as an intelligence enhancer. Facilitates the supply of oxygen to the brain and improves communication between the left and right hemispheres of the brain, also improves memory. Vincamine is very effective in increasing concentration and attention. It is a vasodilator that increases blood circulation, especially in cases of various types of cerebral insufficiency. Vincamine has very low toxicity, as it is an extract of plant origin.

Indications:
Dizziness, problems with concentration, memory, etc. Treatment of established cerebral infarction. Adjunctive treatment for the elimination of symptoms of pathological cognitive deficits and chronic neurosensory disorders in elderly patients (excluding Alzheimer’s disease and other mental disorders).

Directions for use and dosage:
1-2 capsules 3 times a day (depending on the severity of the case). Capsules should be swallowed whole (without opening or chewing) with a glass of water.
Contraindications:
Severe renal failure (if dialysis is not available, high doses over short intervals are not recommended).

Absolute: hypersensitivity to one of the components. Cerebral neoplasm with increased intracranial pressure.

Relative: problems with atrioventricular conduction, cardiac arrhythmia. Vincamine should be taken with caution and under close supervision.

Precautionary measures:
In case of renal failure, the dose should be adjusted. Since Servitam is completely excreted in the urine, it is preferable to reduce doses or increase the time between doses.

Side effects:
Nervous agitation, instability, insomnia – increase when used in elderly patients (5% of cases). Gastrointestinal problems: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastralgia (2% of cases). Risk of twisting of limbs.

Drug interactions: simultaneous use with Bepridil, Bretylium, Erythromycin, Quinidines is prohibited. It is undesirable to combine with hypokalemic diuretics, amphotericin, corticoids, and stimulant laxatives. Medicines that cause twisting of the limbs, for example, pentamidine, sparfloxacin, terfenadine.
