Compound:

Each lozenge contains:

100 mg liquid extract of thyme herb (1:2-2.5)

Auxiliary components:

Sucrose, povidone, stearic acid, colloidal silicon, magnesium stearate, menthol, eucalyptol.

Properties:

An expectorant of plant origin. It has an expectorant and mucolytic effect.

Indications:

It is prescribed as a symptomatic agent in the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, accompanied by a cough with difficult to separate sputum.

Method of administration and dosage:

The lozenges are dissolved in the mouth.

Adults and children over 12 years of age should dissolve 1-2 lozenges in the mouth several times (up to 3 times) per day.

Children aged 6 to 12 years – 1 lozenge 3 times a day.

The duration of use of the drug is determined by the severity of the symptoms of the disease and its duration.

Contraindications:

Chronic heart failure (in the stage of decompensation);

Severe liver and kidney dysfunction;

Children under 6 years of age;

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

Pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions:

It is not recommended to take it simultaneously with antitussive drugs, as well as with drugs that reduce the formation of sputum, since this makes it difficult to cough up liquefied sputum.

If there is no improvement in the condition within 5 days, you should consult a doctor.

Information for diabetics and patients on a hypocaloric diet: 1 lozenge corresponds to 0.07 XE.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions: skin rash, urticaria, angioedema of the face and mucous membranes of the mouth and pharynx (Quincke’s edema) are possible. In this case, stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.
