Properties:
The mechanism by which modafinil promotes wakefulness is unknown. Modafinil has activating effects similar to sympathomimetic agents, including amphetamine and methylphenidate, although the pharmacological profile of modafinil is not identical to that of sympathomimetic amines.
Indications:
Bravamax is indicated for increasing wakefulness in adult patients with excessive sleepiness caused by narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea, or sleep-wake cycling disorder.
Directions for use and dosage:
Before using the drug, consult your doctor. Doses and course of treatment are prescribed by the doctor.
The recommended dose is 200 mg per day. Take in the morning after breakfast.
Contraindications:
Patients with hypersensitivity to modafinil or its inactive components and patients with cardiac arrhythmia.
Pregnancy and lactation period.
