Bisolvon

Compound:

Each tablet contains:

Bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mg

Auxiliary components:

Lactose monohydrate, starch, magnesium stearate.

Properties:

A mucolytic agent with an expectorant effect. Reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions by depolarizing the acidic polysaccharides contained therein and stimulating the secretory cells of the bronchial mucosa, which produce a secretion containing neutral polysaccharides. Bromhexine is believed to promote the formation of a surfactant.

Indications:

Respiratory diseases accompanied by the formation of difficult-to-separate viscous secretions: tracheobronchitis, chronic bronchitis with a broncho-obstructive component, bronchial asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic pneumonia.

Method of administration and dosage:

Inside.

Adults and children over 14 years of age take 1-2 tablets 3 times a day.

Children from 6 to 14 years old with a body weight of less than 50 kg take 1 tablet 3 times a day.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to bromhexine.

Children under 6 years of age for this dosage form.

Precautions:

In case of gastric ulcer, as well as in case of indications of gastric bleeding in the anamnesis, bromhexine should be used under the supervision of a physician.

Use with caution in patients suffering from bronchial asthma.

Bromhexine is not used simultaneously with drugs containing codeine, as this makes it difficult to cough up liquefied sputum.

During pregnancy and lactation, use only as prescribed by a doctor.

Side effects:

From the digestive system: dyspeptic phenomena, transient increase in the activity of liver transaminases in the blood serum.

From the central nervous system: headache, dizziness.

Dermatological reactions: increased sweating, skin rash.

From the respiratory system: cough, bronchospasm.
