Avazir Eye Drops 10 ml
Form: Sterile ophthalmic solution, dropper bottle 10 ml
Active ingredient:
• Tobramycin 0.3% (3 mg/ml) – a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic effective against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
Preservative:
• Benzalkonium chloride – ensures sterility of the solution.

Indications
Avazir eye drops are used for external eye infections and adnexal infections caused by bacteria sensitive to Tobramycin, such as:
• Bacterial conjunctivitis
• Blepharitis
• Keratitis and keratoconjunctivitis
• Other bacterial infections of the eye, including in children

Dosage & Administration
• Mild to moderate infections: 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 4 hours
• Severe infections: 2 drops every hour until improvement, then reduce gradually
• For ophthalmic use only

Contraindications & Precautions
• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to Tobramycin or other aminoglycosides
• Not to be used while wearing soft contact lenses; remove lenses before application and reinsert after at least 15 minutes
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination
• Prolonged use may result in overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms, including fungi

Possible Side Effects
• Transient burning or stinging
• Eye irritation, redness, or itching
• Rare: allergic reactions (swelling of eyelids, rash, urticaria)
• Long-term use may increase the risk of fungal eye infections
