Each tablet contains:

Acetylsalicylic acid – 75 mg.

Properties:

Asposid is a salicylate NSAID with blood thinning properties.

Indications:

Secondary prevention of myocardial infarction; prevention of cardiovascular morbidity in patients with stable angina; unstable angina, except in the acute phase. Phase Secondary prevention of transient ischemic attacks and ischemic cerebrovascular accidents in the absence of intracerebral hemorrhage. The drug is not recommended in emergency situations. It is limited to secondary prevention in chronic diseases.

Method of administration and dosage:

For oral administration, swallow with sufficient fluid. Adults: secondary prevention of myocardial infarction: the recommended dose is 75-160 mg once daily. Prevention of cardiovascular morbidity in patients with stable angina: the dose is 75-160 mg once daily. In unstable angina, except in the acute phase: the dose is 75-100 mg once daily. Prevention after coronary artery bypass grafting: 75-160 mg once daily. Coronary angioplasty, except in the acute phase: 75-160 mg once daily. Secondary prevention of transient ischemic attacks and ischemic cerebrovascular accidents, in the absence of intracerebral hemorrhage: 75-325 mg once daily. Treatment should be reviewed at regular intervals as directed by your physician.

Contraindications:

Children under 12 years of age; hypersensitivity to salicylates and aspirin and other NSAIDs; tendency to bleeding; gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer; severe heart, liver, kidney disease; pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions:

Aspirin may prolong labor and increase premature bleeding when used during the last trimester of pregnancy. Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal diseases (especially elderly patients), strictly under the supervision of a doctor. Do not drink alcohol during treatment.

Side effects:

Headache, dizziness, confusion, hearing loss, tinnitus, stomach upset (nausea, heartburn, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea), gastric microbleeding, renal dysfunction and acute renal failure.

Storage method:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees out of reach of children.
