Each tablet contains:

Analgin 300 mg

Caffeine 100 mg

Ergotamine tartrate 1 mg.

Auxiliary components:

Talc, magnesium stearate, starch.

Properties:

Ergotamine tartrate is the most effective substance for relieving migraine pain. Its effect is further enhanced by caffeine and analgin, it has an analgesic effect that helps relieve pain attacks.

Indications:

Symptomatic treatment and prevention of migraine attacks and other types of headache.
Histamine cephalgia and occipital neuralgia.

Method of administration and dosage:

To prevent migraine attacks, take 1 to 4 tablets daily.

One dose (1 to 2 tablets) is sufficient to prevent an attack in most cases (or as directed by your doctor).

Contraindications:

Peripheral vascular disease, coronary heart disease, impaired renal or hepatic function.

Pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions:

Dependence may develop unnoticed if ergotamine tartrate is used for more than 2 days per week, even if the general recommendations for daily or weekly dosing are followed. Hypersensitivity and white blood cell dysfunction may occur during treatment with this drug. If the patient’s condition deteriorates during long-term treatment, the white blood cell count should be checked and, if the granulocyte count decreases, the drug should be discontinued. The drug contains analgin, which may cause agranulocytosis. The drug should not be administered to children.

Ergotamine and macrolide antibiotics such as erythromycin have been associated with ergotism (poisoning of the human body with alkaloids of the fungus ergot). Ergotamine should not be administered to patients receiving sumatriptan until 6 hours have passed after stopping the drug.

Side effects:

Increased risk of agranulocytosis and shock. Changes in heart rhythm, nausea, vomiting, weakness in the legs, muscle pain in the extremities, numbness and tingling in the fingers and toes, localized swelling, itching.

Storage method:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees in a dry place, out of reach of children.
