Each tablet contains:
Calcium carbonate 680 mg
Magnesium carbonate 80 mg.
Auxiliary components:
Sucrose, starch, magnesium stearate, liquid paraffin, mint flavor.
Properties:
Antacid preparation. Contains calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, which provide rapid and prolonged neutralization of excess hydrochloric acid in gastric juice, thereby providing a protective effect on the gastric mucosa.
The achievement of a therapeutic effect within 3-5 minutes is due to the good solubility of the tablets and the high calcium content.
Indications:
– symptoms associated with increased acidity of gastric juice and reflux esophagitis: heartburn, sour belching, periodic pain in the stomach, a feeling of fullness or heaviness in the epigastric region, dyspepsia (including those caused by dietary errors, taking medications, abuse of alcohol, coffee, nicotine);
– dyspepsia of pregnancy.
Method of administration and dosage:
The drug is taken orally.
Adults and children over 12 years of age should chew 1-2 tablets (or hold in the mouth until completely dissolved) if symptoms occur. If necessary, the drug can be taken again after 2 hours. The maximum daily dose is 11 tablets.
Contraindications:
– severe renal failure;
– hypercalcemia;
-hypophosphatemia;
– nephrocalcinosis;
– children under 12 years of age;
– sucrase/isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption (for chewable tablets);
– hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Precautions:
When prescribing the drug to patients with impaired renal function, the concentration of magnesium, phosphorus and calcium in the blood serum should be regularly monitored.
Patients with impaired renal function are not recommended to take the drug for a long time in high doses.
Taking Rennie in high doses may increase the risk of kidney stones.
If treatment is ineffective, the patient should consult a doctor.
Side effects:
Allergic reactions: very rare – rash, Quincke’s edema, anaphylactic reactions.
When taken at recommended doses, the drug is well tolerated.

Store at temperatures not exceeding 30 degrees.
