Properties:

A product that normalizes intestinal microflora. Contains live lyophilized lactic acid bacteria: Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis. Live lactic acid bacteria are a normal component of the natural intestinal microflora.

Lactic acid bacteria perform a protective function by synthesizing substances with antibacterial activity, produce enzymes that influence the hydrolysis of fiber, proteins, fats, starch and the deconjugation of bile acids, and also participate in the synthesis of vitamins B, C, K, amino acids, and organic acids.

Lactic acid bacteria inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria by: shifting the intestinal pH to the acidic side; producing metabolites that have a toxic effect on pathogenic bacteria (formation of H2O2); producing antimicrobial substances, bacteriocins; competing with pathogenic bacteria for nutrients; interacting with adhesion receptors, thus preventing colonization of other, potentially pathogenic microorganisms.
