Each 10 ml of suspension contains:
Sodium alginate 1000 mg
Potassium bicarbonate 200 mg
Auxiliary components:
Methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate.
Does not contain sugar or gluten.
Properties:
When taken orally, the active ingredients of the drug react quickly with the acidic contents of the stomach. In this case, an alginate gel is formed with a pH value close to neutral. The gel forms a protective barrier on the surface of the stomach contents, preventing the occurrence of gastroesophageal reflux (backflow of stomach contents into the esophagus).
Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of dyspepsia associated with increased acidity of gastric juice and gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn, sour belching), a feeling of heaviness in the stomach after eating, including during pregnancy.
Method of administration and dosage:
Shake before use. 5-10 ml are taken after meals and before bedtime. If symptoms persist for 7 days or more, consult a doctor.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Age up to 12 years.
Precautions:
The product contains sodium, which should be taken into account if it is necessary to follow a diet with limited salt content (for example, with congestive heart failure, impaired renal function).
Side effects:
From the immune system: anaphylactic and anaphylactoid reactions, hypersensitivity reactions (urticaria) are possible.
From the respiratory system: respiratory effects (bronchospasm) are possible.
