Compound:

Each 1 gram of cream contains:

miconazole nitrate 20 mg

hydrocortisone 10 mg.

Auxiliary components:

Caprylic and capric acid glycerides, oleic macroglyceride, liquid paraffin, benzoic acid, disodium edetate.

Properties:

Miconazole is an antifungal agent, an imidazole derivative. It is active against the causative agent of pityriasis versicolor Malassezia furfur, causative agents of some dermatomycoses (Candida, Trichophyton, Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum). It is active against Aspergillus spp., Dimorphons fungi, Cryptococcus neoformans, Pityrosporum, Torulopsis glabrata, Pseudallescheria boydii, as well as against some gram-positive microorganisms, including staphylococci and streptococci.

Hydrocortisone is a topical steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that reduces inflammation, swelling, redness, and itching.

Indications:

Eczema and dermatitis caused by fungal and bacterial flora sensitive to miconazole.

Method of administration and dosage:

Apply a small amount of cream to the affected area of ​​skin 2-3 times a day and rub until completely absorbed. If there is no improvement within a week, consult a doctor.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Precautions:

Do not use facial cream unless otherwise directed.

In pediatric practice, it is used only as prescribed by a doctor.

The use of the cream is not allowed in the presence of herpes infection (herpes, shingles) and chickenpox.

Side effects:

Redness, itching, local swelling, blurred vision.
