Each ml of solution contains:
Olopatadine hydrochloride 1.1 mg, which corresponds to the content of olopatadine 1 mg.
Auxiliary components:
Benzalkonium chloride, sodium chloride, concentrated hydrochloric acid, sodium hydrochloride, water for injection.
Properties:
Selective histamine H1 receptor blocker, also inhibits the release of inflammation mediators from mast cells. Has a pronounced antiallergic effect.
It does not affect α-adrenergic receptors, dopamine receptors, m1- and m2-cholinergic receptors, or serotonin receptors.
Indications:
Allergic conjunctivitis.
Method of administration and dosage:
Instill into the conjunctival sac 1-2 times a day, depending on the dosage form used.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to olopatadine.
Precautions:
Sterility after opening the drug is maintained for 4 weeks.
There is not enough experience of use in children under 3 years of age. It can be used in children aged 3 years and older in the same doses as in adults.
Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery:
If a patient experiences temporary loss of vision after taking olopatadine, it is not recommended to drive a car or engage in other activities that require high concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions until vision is restored.
Side effects:
Local reactions: less than 5% – blurred vision, burning and pain in the eyes, lacrimation, sensation of a foreign body in the eye, conjunctival hyperemia, keratitis, iritis, swelling of the eyelids.
Systemic reactions: 0.1-1% – weakness, headache, dizziness, nausea, pharyngitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, taste changes.
Storage method:
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30 degrees.
