Each 5 ml of syrup contains:
Bromhexine hydrochloride 4 mg
Acephylline piperazine 100 mg
Auxiliary components:
Methylparaben, propylparaben, ethyl alcohol, glycerin, 70% sorbitol, orange, banana flavors, citric acid, purified water.
Properties:
Bromhexine is a mucolytic agent with expectorant action.
Acephylline piperazine is a bronchodilator similar in action to theophylline.
The drug eliminates bronchospasm and has a stimulating effect on respiratory function.
Indications:
Indicated for symptomatic treatment of cough associated with various acute and chronic respiratory diseases (bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, COPD, etc.).
Bronchospasm.
Bronchial asthma.
Method of administration and dosage:
Recommended doses, unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor:
Children 2-6 years: 1 teaspoon 3 times a day.
Children over 6 years and adults: 2 tablespoons daily.
It is recommended to take the drug after meals.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Contraindications:
Individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
Lactation, since the drug may be excreted in breast milk.
In case of gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, as well as during pregnancy, the drug can be used only after consulting a doctor.
Precautions:
Rarely, skin rashes such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome and Lyell’s syndrome may occur. If these occur, stop using the drug immediately. This most often occurs when using it in combination with several medications.
The drug is not intended for long-term use. If there is no improvement within a few days, or if the condition worsens, you should immediately consult a doctor.
Pregnant women, especially in the first trimester, should use only as directed by a physician.
Drug interactions:
No clinically significant adverse interactions with other medicinal products have been reported.
Effect on ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery: no effect.
Side effects:
Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain and other gastrointestinal symptoms.
There have also been reports of treatment-related allergic reactions, such as urticaria, rash, bronchospasm, angioedema, and anaphylaxis.
Storage method:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees, in a dark place.
