Compound:
Each 5 ml of syrup contains:
Bromhexine hydrochloride 4 mg.
Auxiliary components:
Maltitol, benzoic acid, levomenthol.
Properties:
Mucolytic and expectorant drug.
Indications:
Respiratory diseases accompanied by the formation of difficult-to-separate viscous secretions: tracheobronchitis, chronic bronchitis with a broncho-obstructive component, bronchial asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic pneumonia.
Method of administration and dosage:
Children 3-6 years: 5 ml syrup 3 times a day.
Children 6-14 years old (patients weighing less than 50 kg): 10 ml 3 times a day.
Adults and children over 14 years: 10-20 ml 3 times a day.
Bisolvon syrup is not used for more than 5 days without a doctor’s prescription.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
The drug is contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Children under 3 years of age.
Precautions:
It is prescribed with caution in cases of renal and hepatic insufficiency.
During the second and third trimesters of pregnancy and during breastfeeding, the use of the drug is possible only in cases where the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or infant.
Side effects:
Urticaria, bronchospasm, nausea, abdominal pain, dyspnea.
Storage method:
At a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.
Package:
The cardboard box contains paper instructions and a glass bottle with 115 ml syrup.
