Each tablet contains:

Hyoscine butyl bromide 10 mg

Auxiliary components:

anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate (calcium hydrogen phosphate), dry corn starch, soluble corn starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, tartaric acid, stearic acid.

Properties:

It has a local antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of the internal organs (gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, urinary tract), reduces the secretion of the digestive glands. The local antispasmodic effect is explained by the ganglionic blocking and antimuscarinic activity of the drug.

Being a quaternary ammonium derivative, hyoscine butylbromide does not penetrate the BBB, therefore there is no anticholinergic effect on the central nervous system.

The drug begins to exhibit an antispasmodic effect 15 minutes after administration.

Indications:

-renal colic;

– biliary colic;

-spastic dyskinesia of the biliary tract and gallbladder;

-cholecystitis;

– intestinal colic;

-pylorospasm;

– gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase (as part of complex therapy);

-algomenorrhea.

Method of administration and dosage:

The drug is taken orally with water.

Adults and children over 6 years of age are prescribed 1-2 tablets 3-5 times a day.

The drug should not be used for more than 3 days in a row without consulting a doctor.

Contraindications:

-pregnancy;

– lactation period;

– children under 6 years of age;

-rare hereditary diseases such as fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency;

– hypersensitivity to hyoscine butylbromide or any other component of the drug.

Precautions:

The drug should be prescribed with caution in the following clinical situations: suspected intestinal obstruction (including pyloric stenosis); urinary tract obstruction (including benign prostatic hyperplasia), tachyarrhythmia (including atrial tachyarrhythmia), closed-angle glaucoma.

Side effects:

From the cardiovascular system: tachycardia.

From the digestive system: dry mouth.

From the skin and subcutaneous tissue: dyshidrotic eczema.

From the urinary system: urinary retention.

Storage method:

Store at temperatures not exceeding 30 degrees.
