Composition:
Each tablet contains:

Ivermectin 6 mg

Excipients:

Avicel, sodium starch glycolate, aerosil, magnesium stearate.

Properties:
An antiparasitic drug of a wide spectrum of action, used in medicine and veterinary medicine. Ivermectin disrupts the transmission of nerve impulses of parasites, which leads to their paralysis and death. The tablets are highly effective against roundworms, but do not destroy tapeworms and trematodes. Ivermectin is also used for scabies and pediculosis for people with an unweakened immune system.

Ivermectin is quickly absorbed in the human body and after 4 hours the maximum concentration in the blood is reached. The drug is evenly distributed in the tissues, in limited quantities it gets into the eyes, and is excreted after 28 hours mainly through the intestines. Despite the wide spectrum of action, the toxicity of the drug is relatively low when the dosage is observed.

Indications:
– demodicosis;

– myiasis;

– scabies;

– pediculosis;

– trichuriasis;

– filariasis;

– onchocerciasis;

– strongyloidiasis;

– larva migrans.
Method of administration and dosage:
Strongyloidiasis:

Take a single dose of 200 mcg per 1 kg of body weight.

Onchocerciasis:

Take a single dose of 150 mcg per 1 kg of body weight. Take on an empty stomach, wash down with water. It is possible to repeat the treatment after 3 months.

Contraindications:
Individual intolerance to the components.

Pregnancy and lactation.

The drug is contraindicated for the treatment of children under 5 years of age.

Do not use the drug without prior consultation with your doctor in case of reduced immunity or chronic kidney and liver diseases, as well as asthma and meningitis.

Precautions:
Since ivermectin increases GABAergic activity, it is better to avoid its combined use with other drugs with similar effects, such as barbiturates, benzodiazepines and valproic acid.

Side effects:
Asthenia, abdominal pain, anorexia, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting.

Itching of the skin, urticaria, enlarged lymph nodes.

Storage method:
At a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees. In a dry place.
