Composition:
Each tablet contains:

Cefradine monohydrate 1.1073 g, equivalent to 1 g of cefradine.

Excipients:

Microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, talc.

Properties:
1st generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action. Acts bactericidal.

Indications:
Infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to cefradine, including diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues.

Method of administration and dosage:
Established individually, taking into account the severity and localization of the infection, the sensitivity of the pathogen, the patient’s age, the dosage form used.

The recommended oral dose for adults is 1-2 g/day in 2-4 doses, the maximum dose is 4 g/day.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.

Should be used with caution in patients with severe liver and kidney dysfunction.

Precautions:
Before starting to use cefradine, the patient’s allergy history should be collected due to the possibility of developing cross-hypersensitivity reactions between cephalosporins and penicillins.

Side effects:
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, herpes, erythema, itching.

From the laboratory parameters: transient eosinophilia, leukopenia, neutropenia, transient increase in liver transaminase activity, increased bilirubin concentration in the blood plasma; in patients over 50 years of age, cases of increased blood urea levels have been noted.

Storage method:
At a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.

Packaging:
A cardboard box contains paper instructions and two blisters, each with 4 tablets.
